There are many types of attic insulation that are available on the market today. Some are better than others. The most popular are fiberglass batt and cellulose. Fiberglass batt and cellulose are thought to be to be the most effective forms of attic insulation. They are made of plastic, which is reinforced with glass fibers that are easily removed. However, this material comes with some drawbacks. It is an allergen and is not recommended for attics. The glass used in the manufacture of these materials is usually made from recycled glass or sand.
