Injection moulding is a method of producing plastic items that involves injecting molten material into a mould, where it is melted, cooled, and then solidified as the final part or product. In numerous sectors, both thermoplastic and thermosetting injection moulded plastics are employed to manufacture various parts and components. Polypropylene, low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, polycarbonate, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, polysulfone, and other thermoplastic polymers are commonly used in injection moulding. The thermosetting polymers used for injection moulding include epoxy resin, polyester, and melamine formaldehyde.
