Susceptible to exploitation and abuse, millions of girls work as domestic maids and unpaid household assistants, moreover, many others work in appalling conditions while others are forced into debt burdens and/or other forms of slavery. There are several instances where children are forced into prostitution and/or pornography or even hired as child soldiers in armed conflicts.
