The Indian Ocean Tourism Organization, a non-profit organization has been established to unite and visibly integrate 30+ Member States & Island Nations comprising Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, France, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Jordon, Kenya, Kuwait, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Mozambique, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Reunion, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Singapore, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Yemen & any other Countries/Island Nations within the Indian Ocean, with its headquarters based on the Island of Zanzibar.
