India and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)

The upcoming ministerial meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Delhi, which will be attended by the defence ministers of China and Russia, is generating interest. As the chair of the organization, India has multiple bilateral concerns to address with other SCO members, including the reduction of border tensions with China and obtaining Russian supplies of spares and arms during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
