Every year, on average, the fire departments in the United States dealt with over 4000 fires in educational institutes. Many of these structural fires are preventable with the right fire protection protocol of NYC state and the fire department guidelines. However, only due to negligence or an ill-maintained fire suppression system in a Bronx school does a fire threaten the life and safety of the occupants.
