I Had a “Feeling”: REAL LIFE STORIES

Reallifestoriesbooks26 Dec, 2020Business

On Sunday May 4th, 2008 I felt compelled to attend a Chapel Service at Faith on the Move Ministries at the Petro truck stop in West Memphis, Arkansas. I had a feeling that God was about to allow something bad to happen to me if I kept driving a semi under the influence of crack cocaine. After the 8am service, I was invited to stay for the 11am service. I didnt have to pick up my load across the Mississippi River in Memphis until 2pm that Sunday afternoon, so I stayed. At the end of the 11am service everyone got up to leave, but I felt glued to my chair and didnt know why. I later realized that I was being convicted by Gods Holy Spirit to not leave yet. Chaplain Gaylon came back into the Chapel and sat down next to me. We were the only two there. He asked me what was on my mind, and all I said was sin.
