HTC's next smartphone gimmick shifts from blockchain to the metaverse

HTC's general manager for the Asia-Pacific region, Charles Huang, allegedly stated at MWC 2022 that the firm will be launching a new high-end smartphone with undefined "metaverse" characteristics next month. There are few details available, including any specifications, markets in which it will be sold, or even what type of AR or VR features the new gadget would have.
