It is common to update AOL mail settings according to user preference. You can personalize the way you write your emails, the look of your Inbox, and so on. Step 1: Sign in to your AOL Mail account with your user id and password. Step 2: Click on the Mail Settings option. You can locate it just below your user id. Step 3: Now, select the General option to update the general settings. Step 4: Click on the Reading option to customize how you want your emails to be displayed on the screen. Step 5: Click on the New mail option to customize the sound when you receive new mail. Step 6: Click on the Inbox style option to modify your Inbox type.
