How to transfer SBCGLOBAL email to YAHOO email?

To better interact with other YAHOO services, we'd like to move our email and folders (which have a lot of history) to YAHOO email addresses, or at the very least, to run on YAHOO email servers. We are unable to discover instructions on how to carry out that task or even download email and folders.
