First, you will have to download the Canon print app on your Mac book. Then turn on your printer by plugging it in the power socket. Follow the steps for Canon Pixma MX492 setup on Mac. After switching it on, you will see a blue light on your printer turned on. Then, go to the app and click on the printer icon. Select register printer and click on printer setup. Click on connect wirelessly. Now, select the name of your network. Click ok on the prompt you see on the screen. The printer will be defected and click ok to complete the setup.
