Magento 2 offers the functionality for setting properties for every product in a catalog. With the help of Magento product attributes, it becomes easy to configure product features such as color, size, height, width and much more. Attribute set assigned for specific product attributes helps describing all product characteristics. However while creating a new product, you can use attribute set. To assign attribute to the attribute set, navigate to Magento 2 Admin Panel > Stores > Attributes > Attribute set.
