The reason behind using zinc alloy is it's very easy to mold and compared to creating something out of an alternative metal it is much less expensive. Suppose to make our metal sets if we had to use 100% copper, then not only would it be a lot more expensive for the end consumer to buy from plastic dice wholesale but it's also much harder to work with.
