How To Freeze a Row Microsoft Excel

Paul Bryant19 Jan, 2022Business

Freeze Panes has been around for a while, and you?ve most likely seen or worked with a spreadsheet with a frozen top row or columns, but it can be easy to forget how to do it even if you?ve learned how before. Go to the View tab. To freeze or lock your top row, click the Freeze Panes icon in the ribbon and select Freeze Top Row. To freeze or lock your first column, click the Freeze Panes icon and select Freeze First Column. To freeze multiple rows at the top of the spreadsheet, or columns on the left of the spreadsheet, select a column just below or just to the right of where you?d like To freeze. Click the Freeze Panes icon and select Freeze Panes.
