How to Boot into Safe Mode in Windows?

Seems to be your Windows computer freezing, crashing, or simply not performing as it should? It could be a malfunctioning piece of hardware, a bad program, or a quirky driver. Starting Windows in Safe Mode, which opens Windows in a clean, pristine, barebones fashion by prohibiting some drivers and other programs from launching, is one approach to get to the root of the problem on a Windows 10 or 11 laptop. If Windows runs smoothly in Safe Mode, the problem is almost always caused by a driver, service, or other components that otherwise would load automatically.
