How to Add a Custom Column in Magento 2 Products Grid

The default Magento 2 item lattice makes it simple to add a section for showing values for any item property. As they are now accessible under segment control of the items lattice toolbar. You simply have to tick the check/uncheck for that item property under Columns control to show/conceal values.
