Clear vision is an essential, yet often neglected, building block for learning. Countless schoolchildren experience difficulties not because they are not able, but because they cannot see what is being taught. With no reason to think otherwise, most children take it for granted that they see things “normally.” This means that vision problems can easily remain hidden for years. Reading, concentration, and classroom behaviour may be impacted long before the actual cause is suspected. Including a routine children eye test can help uncover these challenges early.
