Bricklayers not only have to be on their feet, in a reachable position, and able to climb, but they also spend a lot of time kneeling or crouching. Bricklayers may be required to work in dangerous environments, such as at elevated levels or in cramped spaces, and these circumstances may change drastically from one project to the next. It's required for most Trade apprenticeships.
