How many Indian students are studying in Australia and Canada?

Last year, Canada handled approximately 360,000 study visa applications from Indian students. This new peak was 55% higher than in 2021. It resulted in the approval of 195,000 Indian students to study in Canada in 2022. In 2022, there were 1,00,009 Indian students enrolled in higher education institutions in Australia, according to data compiled by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
