How Long Can I Work as an H-1B Worker?

You can work as an H-1B worker for a maximum of 6 years, with some exceptions. Initial H-1B is granted for a period up to 3 years, & then can be extended for another 3 years. Physically stay outside the U.S. for at least 1 year then reapply for H-1B.
