HOW IS THE NEW EDUCATION SYSTEM GOING TO HELP THE KIDS RIGHT FROM WHEN THEY START SCHOOLING?

The Union cabinet has made �early childhood care and education� for kids aged 3-6 part of the school. It is one of the most innovative features of the new education policy. The NEP has paved the way for the restructuring of the 10+2 arrangement in college education to a new pedagogical and curricular restructuring of 5+3+3+4 covering ages 3-18. Children in the age group of 3-6 are not covered in the 10+2 arrangement as Class 1 begins at age 6.
