How interoperable battery swapping can bring EVs into the mainstream

Charging infrastructure and the charging time of an electric vehicle (EV) are two of the biggest barriers to the mass adoption of EVs in India. In an attempt to address these issues and accelerate the transition to green mobility, the Indian Government is pushing battery swapping as a workable option, especially for the two and three-wheeler segments, as their average battery size is smaller than four-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
