This definition is now somewhat limited and does not accurately reflect the scope of today?s cyber world for businesses. Security automation system primarily seeks to reduce human intervention in security control operations. When used correctly, repetitive, time-consuming tasks that would have been handled by a security analyst are handled automatically, allowing security analysts to focus on more valuable tasks.
