An 82-year-old man was diagnosed with membranous nephropathy for which he was receiving treatment with cyclosporine A and prednisolone. He subsequently presented with pain and difficulty in chewing. He further developed a painful intraoral ulcer; intraoral examination revealed ulcers on the left buccal mucosa and generalized inflammation of the gingiva. Moreover, erosion was observed on the left side of the tongue.
