While there is still an abundance of debate surrounding CBD, the benefits of CBD are evident. There are no federally-regulated firms which manufacture CBD products. However there are quality control standards. A good manufacturing process is crucial to ensure that CBD products are safe and efficient. Companies should not only follow good manufacturing practices , but also test their products in an independent laboratory. The tests should be conducted with standardized methods that have been approved by the U.S. Pharmacopoeia and American Herbal Pharmacopoeia as well as the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists. This is important because there are many poor-quality CBD products that aren?t worth the price.
