High Pressure Grinding Roller (HPGR) has become an increasingly popular solution in the U.S. for processing of rough-hewn stone and other solid organic compounds in high volume. In particular rough coarse ores like Galapagos granite, marble and limestone are suitable for high-pressure grinding, because these materials contain small particles that are difficult to chip using conventional grinding methods. In order to increase productivity and profit from the high volume of processed material that HPGR can produce, companies must use more machines, including diamond-tipped grinders and electric shredders.
