Hardik Pandya named India captain as BCCI announce squad for T20I series against Ireland

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been given the responsibility to lead Indians on their tour to Ireland in July this year. With India?s regular skipper Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant busy with England series and KL Rahul injured, Pandya has been given the responsibility to take over the leadership role in the two-match T20I series. Notably, Pandya is currently playing Rishabh Pant?s deputy in India?s series against South Africa.
