Microsoft has been sounding the death knell for Internet Explorer for months, but many Japanese firms seem to have ignored the warning. Almost half were claimed to be still using the browser, which Microsoft stopped supporting in March. According to Nikkei, many of these firms have been slow to convert to alternative browsers, which some have warned might create months of upheaval.
