Keratin Treatments usually are not intended to breakdown your hair. Keratin is the protein your hair is made of. The treatment was created to use another coat of keratin around each strand making your hair lay down softer. You should be able to dry your hair right or wear it curly. Of course depending on your unique consistency, you may need to smooth iron to eliminate the other wave. In contrast to the Relaxer, the Keratin Treatment, will gradually wear off after a while.
