This is a distinctly different trek that follows the path of the Maoist guerillas during Nepal?s insurgency from 1996 -2006. It is new and in a remote area of western Nepal in the Rukum and Rolpa regions. You will feel and hear of how villagers became an inescapable part of this war. This is a historical and rewarding adventure into a region rich in culture and natural beauty, with raging rivers, waterfalls, lakes such as Kamala Daha (Lotus Lake), dense jungle, caves and wildlife.
