Google acquires five-year-old microLED startup Raxium

Global Tech Giant Google has now reportedly acquired a five-year-old startup Raxium which is focused on developing microLED displays for AR and VR applications. These microLED are very similar to OLED in that it doesn?t use a backlight, instead each pixel emits its own light. According to the report on The Information, ?Google put a value of $1billion on Raxium,? yet the terms of the deal are unknown.
