How to Become Pilot After 12th Science If you’ve completed 12th with Physics and Maths, you're eligible to start your journey toward becoming a pilot. The first step is to clear DGCA Class 2 and Class 1 medical exams. Next, enroll in a DGCA-approved flying school, where you'll undergo ground training and fly at least 200 hours to qualify for a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Alongside flight training, you must pass CPL theory exams. Once licensed, you can apply to airlines or join cadet programs. Consistency, good communication skills, and fitness are key. With dedication and proper guidance, the path from classroom to cockpit is clear and achievable.
