Ghilaf-e-Kaaba is the outer black cloth covering of Kaaba. It is also known as Kisa. Ghilaf-e-Kaaba is changed each year at a specific time. There are some Quranic verses calligraphed with golden and silver strings on Kiswa. The color of Kiswa was not Black at first. Its color keeps on modifying itself over time.
