Gastrointestinal Cancer

Gastrointestinal cancer is fairly common and includes malignant conditions of the gastrointestinal or GI tract. The GI tract includes the organs of digestion ? the esophagus, stomach, biliary system, pancreas, small intestine, large intestine, gallbladder, rectum, and anus. Some of these GI cancers are now preferentially treated solely with chemo-Irradiation therapy or with initial surgery combined with pre-or post-op chemo Irradiation.
