Funnel Chest is a genetic disorder that causes an unusual appearance of the chest. The chest has a narrow, curved appearance that resembles a funnel. This disorder is often mistaken for scoliosis or curvature of the spine. This is because the shape of the chest may cause the head to be pushed forward, causing the person to look like they are leaning to one side.
