The term funded trading accounts can be confusing for those who have never been involved in forex trading. When a third party, like a forex broker or proprietary trading firm, deposits funds into a trading account, we say the account is funded. With a funded account, traders can use someone else's money to trade instead of their own, unlike with a standard trading account. Those with little money to invest initially may find this arrangement especially advantageous.
