Ophthalmologist Dr. Scott can remove most small eyelid tumors in the minor procedure room in his Fairfax office. In the case of a benign tumor, surgical resection without sutures is frequently all that is needed. With more complicated growths or tumors, an outpatient surgical procedure may be necessary. Some of the more common benign lesions removed at our Fairfax office include seborrheic keratosis, actinic keratosis, epithelial inclusion cysts, nevi, chalazions (styes), hidrocystoma and xanthelasma.
