The Brown Town neighborhood got its name because it was developed by the Brown Corporation in the 1950?s and has a large concentration of ranch homes. It is located with North Elm to the east and Cone Boulevard to the north and sandwiched in between Kirkwood, Old Irving Park and New Irving Park.
