Experiential Learning: Discovery Hour

This idea came alive as Grade 2 students enthusiastically participated in hands-on science experiments that made key concepts tangible. In one activity, students explored capillary action by observing how water travels through paper towels. As they watched coloured water move and mix, students discovered how liquids travel through absorbent materials and deepened their understanding of primary and secondary colors. This experiment nurtured scientific curiosity, patience and teamwork while offering a visually stimulating and memorable learning experience.
