KPSC is in charge of hiring public employees. These tests are given twice a year by the KPSC. The first session runs from January through June, and the second from July through December. This manual contains information on the syllabi and exam patterns for several KPSC exams. Some of the principal positions that this exam forms the basis for are Group A, B, C, and D postings with the Karnataka Administrative Services, as well as the positions of Assistant Controller of Forests (ACF), First Divisional Assistant (FDA), Second Divisional Assistant (SDA), Assistant Engineers (AE), Junior Engineers (JE), and others.
