Electronic waste, known as e-waste, is generated when an electronic or electrical device becomes unfit for its intended use or if its expiration date has been exceeded. Due to rapid technological progress and production of new electronic components, the old one is easily replaced by the new model. This has led to a rapid growth in e-waste especially in India. People switch to new models and trending techniques; Also, the life of the products gets shorter over time. But the issue is left with e-waste management in India and its challenges.
