Everything To Know About Small Cell Lung Cancer Therapeutics

Sharvaricmi09 Dec, 2021News

The lung cancer small cell (SCLC) is a malignant form of cancer that arises within the lung. Cancers of the lungs, especially SCLCs, have a high growth rate and a short doubling time. Chemotherapy can be more effective for SCLC compared with NSCLC. Tobacco use, unhealthy eating, alcohol, HIV status, chronic infections, and physical inactivity are high risk factors for small cell lung cancer. Incidence of SCLC has decreased substantially due to the decreased smoking rates. This disease presents with dyspnea, bloody sputum, weight loss, cough, and debility.
