Rally (Performance Rally, Rallying, Stage Rally, Rally Racing, Pro Rally) is a motorsport where a driver and guide (co-driver) race down shut down back roads, each vehicle in turn, absolute as quick as possible. The vehicles attempt to beat the odds and not straight on. The dashing segments are called Special Stages and are shut to all non-rally traffic. Stages are somewhere in the range of 5 to 20 miles or more.
