Deepti Bisht05 Oct, 2024Education

Ethno-nationalism is a subtype of nationalism that emphasizes the rights and uniqueness of a community within a state or territory by using the ethnic identification of a group as the foundation for political mobilization. Due to perceived threats to cultural identity, globalization, and migration, ethno-nationalism has increased globally in recent decades. According to anthropologists, communities use ethno-nationalism as a means of expressing their cultural sovereignty and as a response to social, political, and economic change.
