The electronics industry is the world?s largest and fastest-growing industry. The growing consumer inclination towards the adoption of technologically advanced electronic products and constant consumer demand for the latest version of e-devices have led to a shorter lifespan of electronic devices as compared to a decade ago. At the same time, this has also led to the rise in the amount of e-waste generated, each day. Along with the higher rate of e-waste generation, there is growing awareness about the hazardous effects of e-waste on the environment.
