An electromagnetic flow meter, also known as a mag meter, is a device used to measure the rate of conductive liquids. It operates on Law of Electromagnetic Induction, which states that a voltage is induced when a conductor moves through a magnetic field. In simple terms, when a liquid passes through the magnetic field inside the flow meter, a voltage proportional to the flow rate is generated. This voltage is then converted into readable measurements.
