Educational Certificates on the Blockchain: Why and How?

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, a US Department of Education, postsecondary educational institutions issued nearly 5.2 million certificates between 2020 and 2021. This staggering number includes bachelor, associate, doctor, and masters degrees. While the data might tell you the number of certificates that were issued, they don?t communicate the difficulties educational institutions might have faced to issue them. Issues like authorizing each certificate manually, issuing them one at a time, or sharing them with individual students one-by-one are enough to take a toll on any institution. Add in the dangers associated with forgery and alteration, and the institutions have got a big mess on their hands.
