An Eddy Current Separator is a powerful separator with permanent rare earth magnets used to induce eddy currents into metallic impurities. Eddy Current Separator uses a magnetic rotor, positioned and spinning inside a non-metallic drum driven by a conveyor belt. Now, shredded aluminum cables are fed onto the conveyor belt, which moves the materials across the magnetic rotor where the separation occurs.
