Since the requirement was heavy and the Dublin factory suffocated to meet out the demands of tyres for bicycles, the production unit moved to Dunlop Tyres Coventry in the year 1898. After four years the building �Fort Dunlop� contained all of its offices along with its modern factory for tyres. In 20,000 hectares area, Dunlop invested in his rubber plantation in 1910. In Japan, a new factory was started soon after three years.
