Interactions with vitamin A (vitamin A toxicity) is a concern with the use of retinoids such as isotretinoin (Accutane) and acitretin (Soriatane), used for acne and psoriasis. Patients should be educated and alert about the signs and symptoms of vitamin A toxicity, such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, blurred vision, and poor muscle coordination.
